Eight New Priests Ordained for the Diocese of Malolos
June 16, 2026 - MALOLOS CITY, BULACAN –
Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos rejoiced on June 16, 2026, as eight deacons were ordained to the Sacred Order of Presbyterate by Most Rev. Dennis C. Villarojo at the historic Minor Basilica and Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
The newly ordained priests are:
- Rev. Fr. Kelvin Yonell Cruz Alejandro
- Rev. Fr. Wyntelxnou Michikko Gabat Avila
- Rev. Fr. Ariz Vargas De Castro
- Rev. Fr. Mark Joseph Santos Lorenzo
- Rev. Fr. Joshua Alfaro Reyes
- Rev. Fr. RR Antoni Camorungan Reyes
- Rev. Fr. Samuel Nicoloi Carpio Reyes
- Rev. Fr. Kristian Luna Tolentino
In his ordination homily, Bishop Villarojo reminded the ordinands that the priesthood is fundamentally a vocation of service, integrity, and self-giving love, not a path toward status, privilege, or personal gain. He challenged the new priests to model their lives after Christ the Good Shepherd, whose ministry was marked by humility, compassion, and sacrifice.
Bishop Dennis emphasized that the priest must remain close to the people entrusted to his care, serving as a bridge that leads others to Christ. He encouraged the ordinands to exercise their ministry with authenticity, faithfulness, and a deep commitment to the Gospel, especially in a world that longs for credible witnesses of God's love.
